We noticed occasional bowstring to bill contact, depending on the length of a particular hat bill and how low we were wearing it. Our goal is to always limit the things that can go wrong in that moment of truth. We've altered our hunting hats for years by shortening the bill to create the perfect Short Bill Bowhunter Hat. Shortly after, we were wearing the short bills on all our hunting adventures, especially chasing the magnificent wild turkey, even when our weapon wasn't the ole stick and string. The way we look at it is, the longer hat bills will exaggerate small head movements. Our opinion is no detail is too small. If something helps us be successful one time out of a thousand you better believe we are doing it.  We like our adventures to end in high fives!
